Comment:
The available data is sparse and unclear. I have estimated the year of birth as 1595, but it could also have been 1606.
Interpreting Wopfner's dates is not easy. If the dates are always assigned to the person mentioned first, then Christina Aberartin's date of death would be 14 January 1636. One could make the following assumption: 28 May 1631 could have been the year of Paul's first marriage, and 28 March 1606 could have been his date of birth. Christina would then have been born on 19 December 1605, and Walburga would have married on 19 December 1636.
This interpretation would mean that after his wife died in January, he already fathered a child again in May. The mother (Walburga Waggin) then married him in December, when she must already have been heavily pregnant, and on 7 February of the following year his first son was born. A wild story, but it would be possible.
Unfortunately, Wopfner's data cannot be interpreted quite this way, as shown by the baptism entry of son Jakob on 30 August 1650 in Graun. Even if 1650 may be disputed, the date 30 August does not appear in Wopfner's data for Jakob. Therefore, these dates must have come from another source, e.g. court records.
The death date of Christina Aberartin and the birth date of son Gabriel are undisputed. For the assignment of the children I followed the order given by Wopfner, and since Gabriel's birth date and Christina Aberartin's death date are known, Gabriel must have been the first child of Walburga and Paul. Therefore Thoman and Christina must be assigned to Christina Aberartin, and all other children to the second marriage.
I have explained in detail how the name Facschig became Waggin in the comments for son Gabriel . In the baptism entry of son Jakob, Walburga Waggin is no longer called Facschig, but Fackin, which makes the connection to Waggin more likely phonetically and supports the expert's theory. The first name Wallburg, Wallburga, Waldburga is always spelled differently. I have chosen the modern spelling Walburga.
