Excerpt from the Patscheider Chronicle (written in 1988 by Mag.a Giselheid Patscheider-Riedmann):

The Schuchter family is an old Walser lineage. The term Walser refers to the Germans who settled along the upper Rhone and remained there from around the year 900; a surplus of the population emigrated and, around the turn of the 14th century, came via Vorarlberg into the Trisanna Valley to Ischgl and from there gradually also into the Upper Inn Valley. In one of the old houses with the free external staircase leading up to the high ground floor, the Schuchter bell forge has been located for centuries – a craft with a fairytale-like aura.

Commentary:

The data from the ancestry passport are credible. Since this was a dynasty of bell smiths, this Schuchter was also very likely a bell smith.

Additionally, the ancestry passport of Giselheid Patscheider lists the marriage year as 1817.

The data by Dr. Richard Patscheider on page Z24 are somewhat more difficult to interpret; the year 1784 also appears here and could likewise be interpreted as the year of marriage, since "1754 VIII. 4." is obviously the date of birth.
