The existence of these two persons (Johann Monz and Maria Nigg) is documented through their mention in “Vom Oberrhein zum Etschquellraum” on pages Z8, Z17 and Z24.
On page Z8 the complicated connection between my 6th great-grandparents (Johann Monz and Maria Nigg) and Christian Patscheider (8042) *9 February 1729 from the descendants of Clauß Patscheidt is explained. I called this the “Monz-Nigg story” for myself. Richard put a lot of effort into explaining this connection, but it only really becomes recognizable in the family tree structure, see the screenshot from Kith&Kin alongside.
On page Z17 the Monz line is listed, partly very confusing. Johann Monz, born 1676 (this one here), must have been a son of Peter Monz, born 1646 and M. Gabl, otherwise this line does not work, at least not with these birth dates! This is completely mixed together with the line to Christian Patscheider, which is also presented here exactly as on page Z8.
