Comment:
The existence of these two persons (Adam Plangger and Maria Westreicher) is documented both by the mention in “Vom Oberrhein zum Etschquellraum” on page Z25 (line 17) and by the information provided by Mr. Philipp Netzer. Mr. Philipp Netzer assured me that all data originates from the online parish registers of the Tyrolean State Archives.
The birth dates of Simon Plangger on page Z25 (20 October 1707) unfortunately do not match the birth year used by Mr. Philipp Netzer (1718). If the parents really married on 4 October 1715, as determined by Mr. Netzer, then the birth year 1718 is of course much more likely. It is also possible that the date in line 17 actually still belongs to the previous line.
In any case, it must be the same Simon, since both Dr. Richard Patscheider on page Z25 and Philipp Netzer list Adam Plangger and Maria Westreicher as Simon’s parents.
