How I came along? Somehow I have a "hereditary handicap" as already my great-uncle, Dr. Richard Patscheider faced up with the subject area family research, genealogical tree and name research. I am in possession of 2 books - "from Oberrhein to Etschquellraum" (published in 1967 by publishing house Robert Lerche, Munich) and "von Sippenherkunft und Siedlerschicksal" (1959 Universitätsverlag Wagner / Innsbruck-Munich) both by Dr. Richard Patscheider. In addition I want to mention the book by Josef Wopfner (National file of Innsbruck) "Family tree Patscheider 1550-1920" manuscript no. 3992 which was also a basis for my research. This manuscript was made up by Josef Wopfner based on the "Werfachbücher" of district court Nauders 1547-1780, then based on an extract from the matriculations of parish Graun in Vintschgau and on different, partly written, partly verbal reports some time around 1927. A very extensive ancestor passport of my father Irimbert which completes and confirm above mentioned literature is also existing. By means of these sources I could draw up a genealogical tree of my descendants on the one hand and on the other hand I included all known descendants of Clauß Patscheider (born in 1947 in Langtaufers) in a genealogical tree whereby in this one only the men, respectively the bearer of the name P(B)atscheider were followed up. since these two genealogical trees which are connected closely comprise a circle of more than 2000 persons a representation is (still) not possible.
Genealogical tree (direct line of Clauß P. up to me): Generation I: Generation II: Generation III: Generation IV: Generation V: Generation VI: Generation VII: Generation VIII: Generation IX: Generation X: Generation XI: Generation XII: Generation XIII: Generation XIV: Generation XV:
All datum's means day.month.year! The genealogical tree is stored in my PC and I use the program Kith&Kin. This program is not the optimum but much better than all other programs which I tested.
